Okay, so it has been a while.

So, how does it ride?
I put about 100 miles on it last week, riding back and forth to work.
One word: smooth.
Another word: fast.
This is a good one.
fixed or SS ?
Fixed. I still run a back brake because (1) I might go single speed at some point, and (2) I am chicken. I had a “brown pants moment” a while back when I was running just a front brake on one of my fixies. I had a blow out up front in a ticklish situation. Made stopping interesting.
Love it!!!, don’t paint, just a clear coat and done.
I know what you mean. I’ve tried clear coating bare steel with regular clear, and it just doesn’t work worth a damn. I got a couple of months out of it before it developed more surface rust under the clear. It all had to come off. Actually, the best was just simply wiping the bike down with WD-40 every couple of days. It looked really cool, but I’m lazy and wiping it down all the time got old after a while. There is a product by Eastwood that is used to preserve “Patina” on old hot rods that might work. Maybe my next bike. Plus, I’ve already got the paint sitting in my garage….
So when will you start taking orders, Gregg?
Snowgoose
Goose! How the hell are ya?
Orders? Man… Maybe when I retire. I’d need to get some insurance so I wouldn’t lose my ass if someone biffed on one of my bikes and was looking for a payday. We’re funny that way down here in the Lower 48.
Plus I work too damn slow.
